Peter Hoban joins Rediweld (Aug 05)

The name Peter Hoban and Traffic Bollards are very much synonymous in many areas of the UK. Peter was Linpac Environmental’s Sales Manager for the North West selling their range of street and landscape bollards, before that he was with Glasdon in a similar role.

At ‘Traffex’ this year Rediweld launched the Jislon range of deformable posts used typically for traffic lane demarcation and pedestrian zone isolation. In his new role as Rediweld Product Manager, Peter will be very involved in the development of the Jislon product, particularly with Local Authorities and key accounts in which areas Peter has much experience.

Peter has 10 years experience in selling bollards, he is based in Liverpool and will now have overall responsibility for sales of Rediweld’s traffic calming product range in the North.

Traficop Design (May 05)

Cushions are now offered as surface units for installation on both concrete and tarmac carriageways. Alternatively the recessed units are recessed into a tarmac carriageway with no external fixings.

Lightweight Kerbing (Apr 05)

To overcome the manual handling problems associated with traditional kerbs, Rediweld offer three styles of kerb all less than 20kg weight – Flexible, Harlow and HB2 style. The Harlow Kerb recently won Rediweld an award as an ‘Innovation in Recycling’.

Tactile Surfaces (Mar 05)

The corduroy style of Takpave tactile surface for the visually impaired is now available as a centre and edge tile, with the edge addressing any trip hazard.

Traficop around the world (Mar 05)

Traficop is now manufactured in both the USA and Australia, as well as being supplied throughout Europe and the Middle East.
