PLASTIC MOULDING SERVICES

from simple moulded parts to complex plastic moulding assemblies

Rediweld offer both horizontal and vertical injection moulding with presses of 30 to 200 tonne as well as manumold, low pressure and compression moulding.

Much of our work requires second operations such as close tolerance machining, fabricating, metal coating or printing, as well as threaded holes or metal inserts.

Materials processed include commodity plastics through to engineering grades and thermoplastic elastomers.

INJECTION MOULDING - THERMOPLASTICS

Rediweld offers moulding for all types of plastic including engineering grades, high temperature polymers and thermoplastic elastomers. Moulding capacity ranges from 30 to 210 tonne, with horizontal and vertical presses. We also offer Manumold moulding for smaller, low volume parts and prototypes.

LOW PRESSURE MOULDING - THERMOPLASTICS

This specialist process allows the moulding of large components, up to 1500 grams in polyolefin materials, with the benefit of low cost tooling making it ideal for low volume production.

COMPRESSION MOULDING - THERMOSETS

Thermoset materials continue to have many applications due to their mechanical and electrical properties of strength, stability and conductivity. Rediweld offers vertical moulding with a range of presses fro 12 to 150 tonne.

CAPABILITIES

Components can be over moulded for masking, protection or tactility and inserts or metal parts moulded into the finished component. We offer product design, prototyping and project management of tooling and First Article Inspection reports for new components. We also provide a wide range of secondary operations and services.
