Peter Gill Appointed Quality Manager of Rediweld Rubber & Plastics Ltd (Jun 07)

Peter Gill has been appointed Quality Manager of Rediweld Rubber & Plastics Ltd. Peter brings to Rediweld a wealth of QA experience from working with both customer and suppliers.  Peter has had previous positions in a variety of industries such as PPE safety equipment, data retrieval systems, retail signage and automotive engineering. The aerospace sector is now Rediweld’s main market for plastic and rubber moulding services. One of Peter’s priorities will be to develop our quality systems to achieve AS9100 approval.

Peter joins Rediweld as it completes an expansion of its thermoset compression moulding and downstream activities such as machining and assembly.

Bill Mills has joined Rediweld as Business Development Manager.

Rediweld is now one of the U.K’s longest established Plastics & Rubber moulding companies with strong supplier relationships in the aerospace/defence, medical, electronics and fluid handling sectors. Bills Mills joins Rediweld Plastic and Rubber Moulding

Bill joins Rediweld with a wealth of industry experience in both Sales and Engineering capacities. Bill comes to Rediweld from Hi-Tech Mouldings. Bringing with him over 30 years experience in the manufacturing industry including a broad process knowledge and experience of moulding and added value business which will hopefully benefit you the customer. Bill believes that an engineering background is a prerequisite in effectively assisting customers in product design and material selection to meet the needs of their specific applications. Pre-sales engineering assistance and support are all areas in which Rediweld continues to invest as part of its overall customer care programme

His new responsibilities encompass building on, and strengthening, existing customer relationships and supply arrangements, introducing Rediweld into new sectors where reliable short run specialist moulding services are becoming scarce, and to add strength to Rediweld’s in-house customer services and technical support departments.
